| This is the fourth startup for Sundia Corp. CEO Brad Oberwager. |
Sundia Corp., a privately held, San Francisco based company, is rolling out its initial marketing campaign for watermelon juice, calling it a “superfood” because of its vitamin and mineral contents.
Juicing is done at Golden Valley Grape Juice and Wine in Madera, with bottling is contracted to Foster’s Farms Dairy in Modesto and Fresno.
The watermelons are bought from Timco Distributors Inc., of Woodland, which gets its watermelons from California, Arizona, and New Mexico.
In this interview, company founder and CEO Brad Oberwager talks about where he got the idea and the hurdles he had to overcome to launch a new food products company.
