Mark Sherburne Joins Sundia; Company Ramps Up for Growth

OAKLAND, Calif. – June 29, 2010 – Sundia Corporation announced today that Mark Sherburne, a veteran of the value-added produce industry, has joined the company to become its first Vice President of Sales.

Sherburne will have responsibility for Sundia Corporation’s distribution channels and strategies worldwide. “Sundia has been growing so quickly that we now need someone of Mark’s caliber to guide us through the company’s next stages of growth,” said Dan Hoskins, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Sundia.

Hoskins noted that Sherburne, having held progressively responsible positions in US-based food companies such as Ocean Spray, Nestle USA, POM Wonderful, Vitasoy, and Ken’s Foods, has the unique blend of start-up and Fortune 50 company experience. “It’s a perfect match,” he said.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from Providence College and an MBA from Rivier College.
